Happy February and Chinese New Year- The Year of the Snake- Hope you are staying warm.

This month we will have a presentation by Omid Aminifard and Jessie Durant, telling us about The Boardwalk and its history.

Please welcome Rich Branson as our new Little SIR,

Our menu choices for our meeting will be Lasagna, Grilled Salmon Salad, or Western Veggie Salad.

It saddens me to report the passing of Bruce Dunn, our condolences to his wife and family.

I have attached a copy of our January 28th BEC meeting, please take a moment to read it to stay informed. Speaking of the BEC, these guys all deserve special thanks and recognition for all the work and dedication they devote behind the scenes.  To mention just a few; Mario Beltramo for his insight and his guidance especially in the interpretation of legal matters. Bob Basel, who edits, publishes and makes the Fencepost possible. Rick Hornbeck for all the hours he puts in keeping our membership data current and assuring a smooth co-ordination of our check-in and lunch distribution. Jim Williams, who has historically been a guiding spirit and mentor to our chapter all these years. Rich Hamlin, whose meticulous oversight for our branch finances and his engaging witticism, (humor), for the day that creates a positive mood in our environment for the day.  And don’t forget Mr. Joe Rudnicki who heads up the Speaker Committee who provides us with the programs we all enjoy. These gents, through their common spirit of working together, help set an example for all of us. . .Thank you all!

See you Tuesday, February 18th . . .Stay warm. . .

Rick
