GARY OING’S SHARING GOOD THOUGHTS WEBSITE (SGT):

Since this is the “merry month of May” I suggest that each of us say “May I help” to more than one of our friends or family or strangers.

Showing kindness and doing good deeds for others is a great way to make the world a better place.

This first link gives you 52 “good deed ideas” — https://www.good-deeds-day.org/52_good_deed_ideas/

And if that didn’t get you motivated to do good things for others, check out this even longer list — https://www.madefromgooddeeds.com/good-vibes-only

We humans need to do more “acts of kindness”.  I hope to try some of these 100+ acts of kindness in the coming month — https://www.bradaronson.com/acts-of-kindness/

The book, referenced on the prior link, is named “HumanKind: Changing the World, One Small Act at a Time”.  If you like books, you can learn more about the book and author by visiting this website — https://www.bradaronson.com/humankind-book/

Asking for permission to be helpful is especially important when you say it to strangers.  Some people don’t want to be helped or are uncomfortable interacting with someone they don’t know.

My favorite way to say “May I help” to strangers is by using the Pay It Forward (PIF) approach.  Click here to see 50 PIF ideas — https://www.randomactsofkindness.org/the-kindness-blog/2917-50-ways-to-pay-it-forward

And, if you would like to see how this happens in real life, click on this link to see a few short videos — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vahi77oOsK4

Lastly, let’s give a special thank you to those of you who “help the flowers grow”.

Here is a link to beautiful pictures of “May flowers” — https://pixabay.com/images/search/may%20flowers/

As a reminder, you can find the above links and much more at Gary’s SGT website.  I encourage you to save the link to the SGT website and visit it throughout the month to help remember my suggested topic of “May I Help”.

Let me know if you have found Internet content that you use for your “mental health”.  If so, share those links with me and I can add them to my website.

Stay well and mentally happy by thinking good thoughts.
