GARY OING’S SHARING GOOD THOUGHTS WEBSITE (SGT):

Some of you are very good at planting and harvesting summer food and flowers.  My goal is to “plant good thoughts” in your and my brain, so our harvest becomes a more positive force to the world around us.

I think that improving mindfulness and present moment awareness is important to a better life.

How many of us know about these skills from other cultures?  I have had the good fortune to visit Japan, and I learned much more about this Japanese skill from this article — https://getpocket.com/explore/item/the-japanese-skill-copied-by-the-world

For those of you who like to plant and grow edible food, this link shows some good ideas for an improved summer vegetable harvest — https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/summer-harvest.htm

If you like to plant and grow flowers, this short video of beautiful pictures shows 30 perennials that bloom all summer — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW2-TWCDmKc

The season of summer will officially end soon (09/22/24).  This is my favorite song about the good times of summer.  Check it out — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6ryBrtQtgM

For many more summer harvest videos to watch, go to — https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=summer+harvest

As a reminder, you can find the above links and much more at Gary’s SGT website.  I encourage you to save the link to the SGT website and visit it throughout the month to help remember my suggested topic of “summer harvest”.

Let me know if you have found Internet content that you use for your “mental health”.  If so, share those links with me and I can add them to my website.

Stay well and mentally happy by thinking good thoughts.
