Distance Was about 17 miles total distance.

Weather The weather was overcast and pleasant. It was great weather for a bike ride.

Ride Description:    This months bicycle ride was on semi level paved & gravel hard packed Shoreline trails in Mtn.View to Palo Alto. It was a nice easy flat ride. It was not a race, no man left behind. We enjoyed the view & good times.

We started the ride at Shoreline Lake by the boat house parking lot. We  traveled north on the San Francisco Bay Trail to Adobe Creek Trail along side of Charleston Slough to Marsh Front Trail, passed through Byxbee Park, passed through Habitat for Wildlife. We passed by the Palo Alto Air Port and watched single engine planes taking off and landing. There was  many different breeds of foul. There was many information and pictured plaques explaining the habitat and history of the area. We rode  to Cooley Landing where we took some pictures. Then, we rode back to Shoreline Lake. We had great views of the Dumbarton Bridge and tidal bay lands. We traded riding electric and standard geared bikes along the way. A first aid kit was provided.

After the ride we  had lunch at the American Bistro Restaurant From about 1:30PM to about 2:30PM. While sitting on the patio looking at Shoreline Lake,  It was a Great Ride. I look forward to ride with you again!
