The annual Ladies Picnic/BBQ was a great success with 83 in attendance. It was again held in the Friendship Hall at Saratoga Prospect Center. Rather than being held on the third Wednesday of July, it occurred on Saturday the 22nd. The change was because the City of Saratoga had allocated the facility to youth activities every weekday.

The catering was once more provided by Que-It-Up and the food was incredibly delicious with generous amounts allowing for a lot of take home. There were 24 door prizes, ranging from portable Fryer Ovens to giant Cymbidium Orchids!! Bingo provided the usual suspense with cheers and groans!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful effort that everyone contributed to making the BBQ such a success!! It is an incredible feeling to know that so many people have your back!! From the planning, to the set up, to the cleanup, it was a well oiled machine. Your dedication to making everything we do successful is amazing.

Thank you to the planning/the execution team of Tony Mazzucco, Doug Krause, Bernie Coullahan, Stan Schneider, Sam Khan, Galen Gipson, John Pletsch, Jim Leblanc, Paul Gardner, Hersh Booth, Bob Grandey, Roger Earle, Bob Shook, Phyllis Vogel, and Don Soderman (great Photos Don!!). I also know that numerous wives (Rhoda Daner, Janice Gipson, Linda Soderman, Leslie Mazzucco, Jane Earle) were in the thick of the setup!! I worry that I have missed someone and apologize if I have!
