We chat (no agenda) on Zoom on the non-meeting Thursdays at 12 noon.

Pasta Primavera - Vegetables with linguini, basil & garlic in light dry white wine sauce.
Shrimp Louis Salad - Assorted fresh greens, bay shrimp, hardboiled egg, tomato, Louie dressing
Breast of Chicken -
Boneless breast of chicken lightly sautéed in white wine, fresh squeezed lemon and artichoke hearts
Roasted Sirloin of Beef -
with sautéed mushrooms, garlic and burgundy wine sauce
*Cost is $32 per person. Entrees include garden fresh mixed greens, potato or rice (depends on the entree), fresh vegetables, French bread, coffee or tea.
Soda and desert are not included.

The restaurant now requires a headcount and your meal choice in advance. Call or email Bruce Edmundson
one week before the luncheon, AND:
Tell him, even if you bought a ticket earlier, whether you will attend or not.
If attending, tell him your meal choice from the menu above.
Tell him how you will be paying.
What We Do:
Following an hour of fellowship, we have a traditional lunch meeting, which commences by saying the
Pledge of Allegance, followed by reports from each of our SIR activities, some humor, and other business including a celebration and prize drawing for birthdays each month (you must be present to win). While enjoying our lunch, we hear a presentation from our guest speaker.

Our April guest speakers were Mr. Rohan Wikramanayke and Mr. Mansour Nasser from the Sunnyvale Water department. They spoke to us about Sunnyvale water, where it comes from, and where it goes.

Our March guest speaker was Bailey Hall from the city of Sunnyvale. She described Sunnyvale's SMaRT (Sunnyvale Materials Recovery and Transfer) station, and told us what is and what is not recyclable in Sunnyvale.

February 2024 Guest Speaker
Our February guest speaker was Joe Burdick from the Santa Clara County District Attorneys Office. He spoke about elder financial fraud, including common scams, protective measures for prevention, and reporting fraud.

Mr. Tom Kramer from Branch 51. His topic was: The History of Golf - Origins and Evolution of Golf, Equipment and Courses.
Tom shared his knowledge of how the game of golf evolved. He brought antique
golf balls and equipment that he has collected over the years. Mr. Kramer's slides

November 2023 Guest Speaker
Our November speaker was Mr. Mark Marymee, a certified photo manager based in Fremont. The presentation was about Photo & Film Organizing. He explained the basics of sorting through photos and film, identifying your best A-grade images, tossing out your worst, then scanning prints and slides and organizing these new digital assets into an online system where it's easy to find photos and share them with family and friends.
