HONORARY LIFE MEMBER (HLM)
The HLM Gold Lapel Pin is the highest and most prestigious award available within SIR.
It is bestowed only to those who have clearly earned it through exceptional and extraordinary service to the branch for 5 years or more.
A Branch may only have one HLM per 50 active members.

An Honorary Life Member is automatically elevated to Senior Honorary Life Member after 10 years.

The DSA Silver Lapel Pin is the 2nd highest award within SIR.
It is awarded to recognize exceptional and extraordinary service
at the Branch level.
