If you are interested in occasionally going out to dinner with SIR friends and spouses or partners, our branch dining out activity may just be your cup of tea. We have engaged in this monthly activity for about two years and have seventy couples as members. We average twenty-six to thirty-six members attending per month. Local restaurants as well as places nearby, such as Willits, Live Oak, Colusa, and even a place called One Eyed Jacks in Clipper Mills have been visited.

Members take turns being the event host, which entails lining up a spot to eat, working with the proprietor, setting a date, the number attending, and greeting the members at the restaurant. I handle the announcements, notifications, and directions. Each couple is billed separately for their dinner. We hope you will join us.
