DON’T MISS THIS ONE!

A 3-mile walk on all paved walkways and sidewalks. Imagine a one-mile wooded park in downtown San Francisco and a thirty-foot waterfall in the Financial District!
Yes!! Just minutes from the Embarcadero BART station in San Francisco.
We will all ride in the same BART car from the East Bay to the San Francisco Embarcadero BART station (see special start-time instructions below)
Our first stop is the [elevated] Salesforce Park which spans 3 blocks in downtown SF, stopping at restrooms as needed. We then descend back to street level and through “Wild Thing” alley park on our way to Yerba Buena Gardens to view a waterfall and other water extravaganza. After this, a 2/3 mile stroll down Market Street and over to Schroeder’s, an historic German Beer Hall, for lunch.
And this will leave us near the Embarcadero BART station for our return trip back to the East Bay.
Bring: Clipper Card for BART!! Water, hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes.

Special Start Time Information:
Everyone should take the BART train that arrives at Embarcadero station at 9:59am. See BART Schedule below for times from various East Bay BART stations. For example, from the Walnut Creek station you should catch the 9:24am BART train. Enter onto the last BART car on the train. We will all meet on the last car of the 9:59am Embarcadero BART train.
