Wednesday, March 26, was a perfect hiking-weather day for our SIR hike from Walden Park to Larkey Park in Walnut Creek. It didn’t rain, the temps were in the low 60’s, a slight breeze, partly cloudy… Perfect! But with only one minor problem… NOBODY SHOWED UP!

Oh well. I enjoyed a nice 4.0 mile ramble through the parks and onto Larkey Ridge and back by myself, nonetheless.
