Plumas Pines 2023 Day 3 Results – PDF

GENTLEMEN:
Our trip to Plumas Pines is always a challenge with new adventures. We had 20 golfers, 5 teams for our three days on beautiful golf courses.
The weather was a challenge. On our first day at the Plumas Pines golf course, it rained on us twice and made golfing on wet fairways, with cart path only, somewhat more difficult.
That evening we enjoyed a wonderful spaghetti dinner prepared by our master chefs John Gerard and Lila Heidemann.
Our second day at Graeagle Meadows golf course, it was absolutely beautiful. The golf course was in excellent condition with no restrictions. The high lite of the day was when Brian Smith scored a hole in one on # 3 par three. Brian used a pitching wedge, 101 yards, called the sleeping waters, over the feather river.  His award was $50.00.  Brian bought everyone a drink at the bar who desired one.
This day turned out to be the most spectacular of all. That evening, during our BBQ, the sky opened up and presented itself with the most spectacular thunder and lightning and torrential rain downpour most of us have not seen. The lights went out for 25 minutes. Our master chef, Joe Tomlin, was drenched to the bone.  He manged to BBQ our fillet mignon steaks to perfection.
On our final day at Plumas Pines, Roger Hughes became ill and Mike Parapid drove Roger home prior to our tournament start. The course was wet and we had to navigate on cart path only.  It turned out to be a most beautiful day.
Please remember Dan Mares in your prayers who was planning to join us on our Plumas Pines trip.  Dan had heart surgery and passed away on the operating table.
Thank you Brandon Bowling for hosting our group and reserving our villas and golf courses.  You always make our play and stay more enjoyable.
Thank you all for making this a very successful event.
Your daily tournament results are posted above.
