Hello SIR Bowlers,
Happy (almost) 4th of July! SIR bowling has been off to a great start with three tournaments having been run already (cue fireworks). It’s been great to see everyone!
The Pollock Pines tournament is just around the corner … next week. Sadly, NuGeneration Lanes in Yuba City is closing which means our SIR tournament scheduled at the end of July will not happen. After Pollock Pines, we’ll all be back in Reno – yipee!

The above document summarizes the current SIR Inc.’s interim protocol for the resumption of any SIR-sponsored bowling activity. The first tournament to be held this year will be at Knotty Pine Lanes in Pollock Pines under the supervision of Sir Ray DiBasilio on April 29-30 (Thursday and Friday). For information and application forms, bowlers can go to the SIR website and/or contact Sir Ray @ 530/558-9727.
The Branch 160 bowling tournament is scheduled this year again at Carson Lanes and, if the pandemic allows by this time, will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 17 & 18. Dave Moore and I will be the Tournament Directors. He and I have been attending the SIR State Bowling Committee meetings via Zoom and are asking the BEC to review and approve our tournament under these protocols or any subsequent revisions and modifications that may be developed by the State Bowling Committee.
