GENTLEMEN:
What can I say, it was one of the best and hottest trips I experienced. The first day at Plumas Pines golf course was a sauna type experience. We started at 12:00 PM and by the time we finished we were cooked.
At our spaghetti dinner that evening, the heat would not let up. We could not find a cool place to sit, however the great tasting spaghetti sauce and cold drink made up for it. Thank you, John Gerard, for the preparation of this great dinner!
Our second day at Graeagle Meadows was a bit cooler due to our starting time at 9:00 AM. The course was in great condition and the greens putted much faster. Some of us enjoyed a great lunch and a cool drink after our round at the restaurant.
At 6:00 PM the great filet BBQ began.  Wow, the meat was tender and tasty due to our great chefs, Joe Tomlin, Richard Pike and Bryan Smith. The wine and beer kept flowing to every one’s delight.
Our last day at Plumas Pines started with a great morning shower in your bathroom and ended up with tearing down the bedding to help out the cleaning crew. We had a scramble format 9:00 AM shotgun start. It was a bit cooler.  Most of us finished in less than 4 1/2 hours. The golf course on both days was in great condition.
We all enjoyed the three days in a completely different environment than we are accustomed to.  As far as I know, no one got sick (maybe a little bit too much to drink) and we did not lose anyone.
Talking about loosing- Bryan Smith won the honor of losing the most balls (6) at Graeagle Meadows and was awarded $200.00 from Bob Harms for donation
to his favorite boy or girl charity.
I was very much surprised when Bob Harms presented me with a beautiful card with everyone’s wonderful comments and a generous donation for Lila and me for a night out on the town.
Thank you Brandon Bowling for making all the lodging and golf course arrangements for our Lake Tahoe SIR group. Your hospitality is the best!
My sincere appreciation to the kitchen clean up committee for both evening dinners. You, gentlemen, did an outstanding job!

Thank you, Jim Maxedon, for compiling all the tournament results!
Thank you all for making this event so successful and so much fun.
