GENTLEMEN:

On a most beautiful Tuesday morning, we had 9 teams, 36 golfers tried to conquer challenging Lakeridge in Reno. We played to a tough format to a 2-best balls on each hole. After I played a few holes, I thought I was playing in the US Open. After hitting the green, my ball rolled in various directions, often off the green, where a three putt was quite common. I am sure that many of you had the same experience.

The Maxedon team had experienced players on this golf course and beat everyone as usual. For some reason, Jim Beilstein’s team was very lucky or very good.

I see that Steve Butts, on Jim’s team, was a big help and shot the low round of the entire group. Steve also won the most SKINS! WOW!

The weather was perfect.  The golf course was in great condition, and the company we shared was a lot of fun!
