Heidemann Cup August 17 2020 Results PDF

GENTLEMEN:

We had a wonderful turn-out for the Heidemann Cup, individual stroke play event. Fifty one players tried their best. The competition was very close. Three players tied with a net score of 62.

The tie was broken by selecting the four toughest handicap holes.

  1. John Gerard had a – 6, 6, 4, 5 for a 21 score
  2. Marshal McCurdy had a – 4, 7, 7, 6 for a 24 score
  3. Johnny Myers had a – 5, 6, 7, 7 for a 25 score

Our new, and second time winner of the Heidemann Cup, Green Hat and Trophy, is JOHN GERARD. CONGRATULATION, JOHN, FOR THIS GREAT PERFORMANCE. Of course, Marshal McCurdy and Johnny Meyers hand an equally outstanding day. You are all “Heidemann Cup” winners in my book!

Jim Cooper and Richard Pike shot a wonderful round of 79 and tied for low gross.

The golf course was in good playing condition, except for the bunkers, with virtually no sand in them, were nearly impossible to play. In previous times, the entire course was in much better playing conditions. All in all it was a fun day to spend with our golfing buddies!

Thank you,

Sig

Update:

On another note.

After playing the Ranch Course last week with Ed Dworak; I ask that you to consider the entire fourth hole as ground under repair.  Allowing preferred lies for all shots in the fairway, bunkers and rough.  Meaning if they are in an area that is damaged, the player can move their ball (no closer to the hole)  but, to the nearest best natural golf condition portion to hit their next shot.  This temporary rule would be for the entire fourth hole only.  (as I recall, the fourth green is damaged too)  Ed D. can confirm this if I am incorrect or not

Thanks for your consideration. Sig,
