GENTLEMEN:

It was a cloudy, warm, “sprinkling”  morning at Empire Ranch. We had 43 golfers, 11 teams, participate in our 4-man team, 2-better balls event.

This is a tough event. Empire Ranch golf course played tough. The course was wet in many palaces.  There was very little roll of the ball on your tee shots.  The rough was tough to get out, however, the greens were great with a few sadistic pin placements.

All in all, the sauna type environment made it a challenge for everyone.

Looking at the results, the competition was very close. Three lucky skins players multiplied their entrance fee by 14.

After our round we enjoyed a fantastic lunch put on by the Empire Ranch chef. Dave La Fata also treated us with some great coffee and donuts in the

morning.

It was a great day!  We did not loose anyone, however one team went off the bridge in their cart near the fifth green and avoided taking a bath.
