GENTLEMEN:

On a most beautiful summer morning, we had 13 teams, 52 players, participated in our 4-man team, 2-better balls event at Eagle Valley West. We promptly started at 8:30 AM.  Most of our groups played in 4 1/2 hours. The team competition was quite close and some individual scores were outstanding.

In our lowest number of putts competition we had 3 players with 27 putts. I broke the tie by looking at the score cards for the front nine holes.

1. Dave Nolte – 12 putts

2. Jim Cooper – 13 putts

3. Johnny Myers – 15 putts

The winner with the lowest number of putts was Dave Nolte.

The golf course was in great condition.  The new sand in the bunkers were a pleasure to play out from. Thank you Eagle Valley staff for hosting our group today.
