GENTLEMEN:

Life is good! The Carson Valley golf course presented itself in all of it’s glory. The grass was so green, that it was a pleasure just to be out there. Sure, the grass is growing faster right now and the maintenance crew can’t keep up with the mowing.  In any case, it was a lot of fun.
Some individual scores were excellent and the overall team scores in our 4-man team, 2 better balls event were very close.
Thank you Carson Valley staff for hosting our group today. Excellent cart orientation, player names, hole assignments, a small gift package  f tees, tool and markers for each player. Meeting the “new PGA PRO, Dan D’Angelo” was a pleasure.
After our round, the outside seating of our players and the scrumptious large hot dogs hit the spot. The company was perfect, the beer tasted good, and of course, the weather was superb.
Thank you all for the fantastic turn-out!
Sig

GENTLEMEN:

This sure is the nicest time of the year to play golf. The weather is perfect and we are beginning to get our swing back.
On Monday, we will have a shotgun start at 8:30 AM at the Carson Valley golf course. We have 12 teams, 46 players, two openings. Our tournament format is a 4-man team, two better balls. Closest to the pin on 4 out of the 5 par threes. (two places)
When you arrive, please pay $40.00 for your green fee, cart, and lunch.
Gentlemen, the CDC announced yesterday, that you no longer have to wear a mask or practice social distancing if you are fully vaccinated.  The State of Nevada agrees with this decision.  California has not made a decision at this time. We are still playing “Sig’s tournament”, not the Lake Tahoe SIR tournament.
Watch your pace of play.  When you complete your round, let’s meet in the bar area and outside to enjoy your hot dog.  Drinks are extra. Say around 1:00 PM.
