GENTLEMEN:
What a way to end our golf tournament season! It was a picture perfect day. The course was loaded with more people than ever seen before.
The greens were slicker than snow on a tin roof. I know I should have read my book on “How To Line Up My Fourth Put.” I played with three wonderful “new guys”. Mike, the meat meister, Mike, the paint thinner , and Ken, the salad maker. Wow, could they smoke their balls.
The course was in great fall condition. Looking at the results, I noticed that playing from the Silver Tees was definitely a more enjoyable round for a few of our super stars.
We will miss our “snow birds” who are flying south for the winter.
We had a “Hole In One” event occur on hole # 6. I was informed that Rand Ramociotti fired a # 9 iron from 144 yards. Congratulation! You will be awarded $50.00 for your fine effort. I was also told that Randy suffered an injury on the course and was unable to play and had to withdraw without finishing his round. I talked to Randy this morning and he is feeling better.
Thank you, Jim Keppler and staff for hosting our group. The lunch was great! We all enjoyed it. We shall return.
Nick Jannis will line up some golf courses for our winter outings, weather permitting. SIR 2022-2023 Winter Golf Schedule_PDF
Thank you all for a great year and all the pats on my back. I really appreciate it.
