GENTLEMEN:
On a most beautiful summer morning, 47 brave golfing warriors were ready to show who was boss on the challenging Dayton Valley golf course. The play turned out to be very slow, over 5 hours, and most of us ran out of steam. Could not determine what the problem was. In any case, the golf course won.
The greens were awesome, however, if you missed the fairway on your tee shot, you paid for it dearly. It was difficult to advance the ball out of the rough.
It was a welcome relief from the heat to enter the restaurant for a great brats luncheon. Thank you Jim Keppler, Sean, restaurant staff for hosting our group today

You are in for a beautiful, warm day at Dayton Valley golf course on Monday. Our tournament event is a 4-man team, 2-better balls. Closest to the pin will be on # 4 and # 13. (two places)
A shotgun start at 8:30 AM. We have 12 teams, 45 players, three openings.
Please keep up with your pace of play.
At around 1:00 PM, we will have a nice lunch.
