Toiyabe May 25 2021 4 man best ball Results PDF

GENTLEMEN:

On a cool, sunny and windy morning, 51 golfers, participated in our 4-man team, 1-best ball event at the challenging golf course of TOIYABE. We started out this morning with some wonderful coffee and donuts. Promptly at 8:00 AM we drove to our starting hole.
We all knew that this golf course plays tough and the resulting scores indicated that.
Life is full of surprises and most are pleasant and memorable.
I had no clue that today would be one of those memorable days.
When our group approached the 8th hole, par three, at Toiyabe, we all knew
that we had to hit the ball crisp to carry the lake and over the bunker to the pin.
My GPS indicated 144 yards to the pin with a strong wind in our face.
My partners teed it up first and were safe on the other side of the lake.
Then it was my turn.  I choose a 5 hybrid club.  The flight of the ball was a
pleasure to watch.  It carried the lake, over the bunker, 6 feet in front of the pin,
and rolled into the hole.
Of course, none of us expected to see this once in a life time (for me) to happen.
I do not know what else to say.  It certainly was an exhilarating experience.
Wayne Feletar almost had a hole in one within 1″ on the same hole. WOW!
The team scores were very close.
It turned out to be a very good day!
Thank you TOIYABE staff for hosting us today.  We will be back!
Sig
Congratulations Sig!!!!

GENTLEMEN:

Can you believe it, it is snowing at my house right now.  Had one inch yesterday and many areas had a lot more. Cheer up!  Our weather will improve significantly by Tuesday when we are playing Toiyabe.  I was informed that the course is in great condition.
When you arrive at the clubhouse, please pay $55.00 for your green fees, cart and  goodies. See Tom Sawyer to donate $5.00 for your prize fund.
We will have a shotgun start at 8:00 AM.  Prior to our start, coffee and donuts will be available around 7:15 AM. We have 13 teams, 52 players, and our format of play is 1 best ball net. All of us will play from the WHITE tees (6165 yds)
I know that the course plays difficult.  However, I am requesting that you keep up with the group in front of you and try to make it a 41/2 hour round.
This is SIG’s tournament and you all know why.

Closest to the pin on 4 of the 5 par threes (two places)
Let’s enjoy the day with your friends!
