GENTLEMEN:

First I want to apologize for exposing all of you to the brutal, cold and windy weather conditions. You are my heroes for winning this battle today on the golf course. No one quit!  We had 32 players, 16 two man teams in our 1-best ball event. We started promptly at 9:00 AM.

Surprisingly, individual scores were quite good. The team scores were great and highly competitive

Congratulation Jim Beilstein and JoeTomlin for and excellent team effort and taking first place!

David LaFata greeted our group this morning with a treat of wonderful donuts and great coffee. What a pleasant surprise. Our buffet luncheon of hamburgers and hot dogs with all the condiments and

trimmings was outstanding.   Thank you David and Leslie for being such great hosts. You are the best!

All in all it turned out to be a great – we did not loose anyone.

GENTLEMEN:

On Tuesday, April 27, we are visiting Empire Ranch golf course in Carson City. Our T-time is a 9:00 AM shotgun start. Your green fee, cart and buffet lunch will be $35.00. Please see Tom Sawyer and Marshal McCurdy first to donate $5.00 to our prize fund.

Our tournament format is individual stroke play, 2-man team, 1-best ball. We have 31 players, (one opening). On the pairings sheet, in each group player 1 will team with player 2 and player 3 will team with player 4.

Closest to the pin will be on two par threes: #5 and #17, (two places)

Playing rules will be: Mark, lift and clean, replace your ball within 6″, if necessary.

Lunch will be served from 1:30 PM and on.

Please wear your mask and distancing as appropriate.
