GENTLEMEN:

We are in a most unusual weather pattern again.  First our memorable winter and now our rainy afternoon spring days. I think it is just perfect !  How beautiful !

We had 47 players, 12 teams participate in our 2 better balls 4-some event. This is a more competitive team event where at least 2 players need to score well on each hole.  The hot-shot team of Bryan Smith left everyone in the dust. They manufactured a 111 team score.  Congratulation !

Our second oldest player, Ed Fry, had first place on two par threes. What a great Day!

The golf course was in much better playing condition than two weeks ago. However, some of the sadistic pin placement cost most of us extra strokes. Thank you Silver Oak management and staff for hosting our group.

There will be no “regular” golf tournament next week. Twenty of our most adventurous golfers are heading out to Plumas Pines on Monday for three days.

We had three guests join us today and one was “Trevor” the faithful dog companion.
