SIR members, whether working or not, can stay active in their leisure time, make new friends and keep up with their interests. Our Three Shastas Branch 129 in Redding offers several activities now and we are open to starting up new activities, whether it’s joining others in card games, hiking trails in the area, trying pickleball, wine tasting or any other activity you wish to consider.

SIR is not a service club. We don’t have a political agenda or a religious orientation either. We don’t have a problem with those that do; it’s just that we don’t!  What’s more, other than tickets to events, SIR Ball caps, license plate frames and ballpoint pens, we don’t sell anything. If we do raise money it is used to benefit our members.

We do not limit membership to those of a certain age, race, color or religion. Our annual dues are very reasonable, just $50 right now, and we charge only $15 for our monthly luncheons, which are catered by Claudia Licata Catering at the Redding Elks Lodge.

All we ask is that you attend our monthly lunches , be social, join in those activities you are interested in, and consider asking a friend to join. We enjoy a lunch together, have fun and listen to informative speakers.

As Branch 129 grows we look for good leaders and volunteers. Our members value and appreciate what we do for them. When something needs to be done, we just step up and do it.
