HELLO SIRS

The January 23rd horseshoe tournament was a fun and challenging tournament, while having coffee, pastries and great conversations by the lake.

We drew numbers for partners playing 2 man teams on two freshly manicured pits. It was a race to 15 point win. The players were John Pletsch, Mike Davis, Fred Jones, Don Soderman, Steve Guyon and Mike Turay. They threw from there own comfortable throwing distances.

In the last game of the tournament, it came down to Mike Turay and Steve Guyon throwing against Don Soderman and Fred Jones. Early in the game Steve and Mike threw a couple of 3 point ringers getting off to a good start. Don and Fred caught up one point a throwevening the score at 10 to 10, until Steve Guyon threw the hard earned double ringer a “Six Pack” for a walk off 16 to 10 point win.
