Dear fellow SIR and significant others,
With weather issues, holidays, and my health issues, we have not had a Wine Society event for a few months. It’s time we got together to enjoy ourselves. The next event will be held on February 16th at 12 noon at the MoHi Winery, formally the Sycamore Creek Winery, at 12775 Uvas Road, Morgan Hill. It will be an indoor event to protect our aging bodies from the weather. We will have chairs with backs to relax our old and tired muscles. There will be numerous choices for food to be purchased, charcuterie boards, flat bread, cheese, etc. You may bring your own food if you choose. MoHi is a sister winery to Leal Winery in Hollister. You will notice on arrival that Frank Leal’s trademark is Olive Trees and lots of them. Both of his wineries are wedding venues and are beartifully created.
Please text or email me with your RSVP if you plan to attend. If you are busy that day no need to respond to me. As a reminder, I pay for the wine up front so they are not stuck with 20 credit cards, so please bring cash to pay for your tastings. Since I purchase the wine up front, we do not have to pay a tasting fee with very little wine to taste, buying bottles is more enjoyable and yes, you do get a little more. ; – ).
Directions: Since I live in the South end of Almaden Valley, it’s easy for me to travel down McKean Road until it becomes Uvas Road which leads to MoHi, but it may be easier for many others to take Hwy 101 South to Tennent Road to Watsonville Road to Uvas Road.
Looking forward to hearing from y’all,
