THE PAST SIRS DECEMBER 11th HORSESHOE GAMES

TIME:   9:00AM to about 10:30AM

WHEN:   Thursday November 11th

WHERE:        We played at Lake Almaden Park. The location of the 2 parallel  pits have been changed to the Almaden Exp. side of the lake by the volley ball court. The 2 parallel  pits were level and are in good shape.

PARKING:    We parked in the free parking lot on the Winfield Blvd side of the lake and walked on the trail across the foot bridge. We followed the trail to the right around the lake to the horseshoe pits by the volley ball court and sandy beach. See map.

THE PLAYERS WERE:   Jon Wiseman, Steve Guyon and Fred Jones

THE GAME:   We played double elimination race to 15 points.

Steve and Fred fought it out to the last game.

Fred came back from the losers bracket and won the game 15 to 12.

It was a fun competitive game by the lake.
