Welcome to the SIR Branch Webmaster’s Quick Start Kit!

This is a fully-functional branch website to give you a quick start using WordPress. We can make a copy of it for your branch and you can begin editing it. • A SIR banner with the SIR logo and the colors and fonts recommended by the SIR Branding Committee. More banners to choose from are here.
• Weaver Xtreme theme
• Sample web pages for activities, newsletter, officers, committees
• Sample images in media library
• Sample menu structure with subheadings
• Block editor for pages that have side-by-side elements
• Classic editor for pages that are primarily text
• Selected WordPress plugins for:
  • Copying this website to your branch website
  • Backing up your site automatically
  • Reliable email delivery
  • A contact form
  • Site statistics

 

After the site has been copied to your branch’s folder, be sure to configure these options for your branch:

• Change site title and tagline in Settings > General
• Change administrator email address in Settings > General
• Configure WP Mail SMTP as described here.
• Set contact form’s Send-To Email Address in WPForms > Contact Us > Edit > Settings > Notifications
• Configure UpdraftPlus for offsite backup
