Shasta and Lake Tahoe to San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The corporation\u2019s copyrighted insignia is the rooster. The late Damian L. Reynolds, who conceived the idea of Sons In Retirement, stated, \u201cOf all the creatures on earth, none expresses independence and dignity with more sureness and aplomb than a rooster.  The majesty of his presence is felt in every barnyard, and when he crows, he can be heard for miles, not a fainthearted crow, but with a noise that calls attention to his majestic being.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each SIR Branch is an independent 501(c)(4) corporation.  SIR is a social organization.
