The purpose of the Exploring Wines group is twofold. As our name implies, we are interested in expanding our knowledge of the enjoyment of wines, in a non-competitive atmosphere. To do so, we will hold quarterly samplings at local wine bars, restaurants, and other venues, and organized trips to various wineries and tasting sites in the wine country. We hope that after each event, the participants will leave with the idea that they have either learned something new, or that some deep, dark, wine memory has been resuscitated.

Of equal importance to our group is the opportunity for members, their guests, be they spouses, partners, or friends, to enjoy a relaxed, social interaction.
