We golf every Wednesday on a rotating set of courses in Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Solano counties from early February until the mid-November. We encourage golfers of all abilities to play. 

For each tournament, we award prize money to the top three or four places, depending on the number of players entered in the tournament, plus closest to the pin. We also recognize consistent play over the course of the entire season as the top three players in each tournament (sometimes four depending on the size of the field) also earn points based on their final place each week. The player with the highest number of points at the end of the season is declared the Club Champion for the year and we also have Flight Champions. In addition, we also have annual awards for Closest to the Pin and Most Improved.

SIR is one of the largest groups of the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) and secures reasonable greens fees as a result.
