Welcome to the SIR Inc. (formerly Sons In Retirement, but now open to all men, retired or not) Damian Reynolds Branch One website! SIR is a state wide organization devoted to help men make friends, lead a meaningful life, and above all to have fun! Branch One is located in and around San Mateo, CA. We have lots of activities and fellowship. Please take a little time to read about us, and talk to our members. Once you know us, we hope you will join us and Make Friends for Life.
Upcoming Activities
Members must specify if they are coming to lunch and if they desire the regular entrée, the alternate entrée, or the vegetarian entrée by e-mailing m.kevin.moran@gmail.com at least 6 days in advance. For our April 8th meeting, the regular entrée is Ham with Pineapple Glaze, the alternate entrée is Honey Garlic Chicken Thigh, and the vegetarian entrée is Cauliflower Steak. Any reservations must be canceled by the Sunday evening before the lunch, or you are obligated to pay for the ordered lunch if you miss the meeting for any reason.
Luncheon meetings are at 12 noon on the second Wednesday of the month at San Mateo Elks Lodge #1112, 229 W. 20th Ave., San Mateo. Members gather socially starting at 11:00 a.m. All members are also welcome to attend the Branch Executive Committee meeting at 10 a.m.

Our May 13, 2026 luncheon is our annual Spring Luncheon which welcomes our spouses/significant others. Reservations with entrée selection are required by Friday, May 1. Walk-ins are not allowed. Click here for the reservation form and complete details.
