Welcome to the SIR Inc. (formerly Sons In Retirement, but now open to all men, retired or not) Damian Reynolds Branch One website! SIR is a state wide organization devoted to help men make friends, lead a meaningful life, and above all to have fun! Branch One is located in and around San Mateo, CA. We have lots of activities and fellowship. Please take a little time to read about us, and talk to our members. Once you know us, we hope you will join us and Make Friends for Life.
Upcoming Activities
Members must specify if they are coming to lunch and if they desire the regular entrée, the alternate entrée, or the vegetarian entrée by e-mailing m.kevin.moran@gmail.com or leaving a message on the Superphone (650) 341-8298 at least 6 days in advance. For our June 11th luncheon, the regular entrée is Smoked Pulled Pork, the alternate entrée is Smoked Beef Brisket, and the vegetarian entrée is Garden Burger. Any reservation must be canceled by the Sunday evening before the lunch, or you are obligated to pay for the ordered lunch if you miss the meeting for any reason.
Luncheon meetings are at 12 noon on the second Wednesday of the month San Mateo Elks Lodge #1112, 229 W. 20th Ave., San Mateo. All members are also welcome to attend the Branch Executive Committee meeting at 11:00 a.m.
