You’ve paid your dues in the working world, now it’s time to make new friends and enjoy life!

We are a non-profit organization of active men from all walks of life including business, science, engineering, medicine and education.  Our sole purpose is to bring together individuals with common backgrounds and interests to participate in well organized and well run indoor and outdoor activities and special events.  Participating in these activities and events lead to strong social bonds amongst our members.

We invite you to explore our website by selecting the tabs on the banner above.  We recommend starting at the “Join Us” tab and look at a  short video introduction to SIR.  We don’t raise money. We don’t have a political agenda. We don’t have a religious orientation. Our membership fee is minimal, and our monthly luncheons are tasty and priced reasonably.

Luncheons

We meet for lunch on the 3rd Wednesday of the month to socialize, enjoy good food, and listen to interesting speakers. We usually meet at the Redwood Hall, Mtn. View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff Ave., Mtn. View.  We have alternate dates and venues in June, July, and December.

Typically, the doors open for our luncheons at 11 am for a social hour. Lunches are available around 12 noon.  The branch meeting begins at 12:30 pm followed by a guest speaker. The list of our past speakers is impressive.

If you would like to attend one of our luncheon meetings as a guest, contact our Membership Director, Paul Schutz, phone 408-313-6852 or email MembershipSIRBr35@sirinc2.org and he will help you make the arrangements.

If you know you’re ready to apply for membership in Branch 35, fill out the SIR Application Form and return it by email or mail to Paul Schutz (the addresses are on the form).

We look forward to seeing you!
